Raising awareness and much needed funds for the events industry, decimated by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Survival Tour is an industry cycle ride from Newcastle to London symbolising what should have been the start of the touring season.
The team of industry professionals have come together to take on this challenge to raise awareness of some of the issues facing the events industry currently and reinforce the #wemakeevents campaign to help the industry survive.
It was Day 11 of the ride and the cyclists went past some of the biggest venues in the area including The Theatre Royal and Pavilion in Bath, and our neighbours up the road at Worthy Farm, the Glastonbury Festival team.
To date, the tour has raised over £20,000 and the cyclists have covered more than 18,000kms. If you would like to contribute, you can donate here:
The tour finishes in London on Sunday 18th October.
