Currently residing in Cornwall, Lord Falmouth runs his family estates in Cornwall & Kent, along with the in-hand farming operations including apples and dairy herds. He is passionate about forestry and has a great interest in new technologies and efficiencies to help his estates thrive and to support his tenants to help deliver UK food security.

Lady Falmouth is a keen supporter of the Natural Environment and its impact on mental health. As well as taking care of her small drove of Tamworth Pigs which she regularly shows, she also works closely with a beekeeper to help her manage her 80 hives across the estate! Together, Lord & Lady Falmouth establish the first Tea Estate in the UK and oversees the sale of the tea in the UK and abroad.

Lord & Lady Falmouth took over the annual presidency from Lord & Lady Radnor during the Royal Bath & West Society’s Summer Council Meeting.

Handing over the badge of office, Lord Radnor said, ‘It has been an immense privilege to have served as joint Presidents of The Royal Bath and West Society over the last year. Starting with The Dairy Show we have been amazed how much hard work is involved, mainly voluntary, culminating in the Royal Bath & West Show that gave thousands of people a fabulous day out.”

“The warm welcome we were given whether in the arenas, or on the many stands we visited made our roles easy and pleasurable. Highlights for my wife might have been a toss-up between hijacking a dray in the Main Ring, cider-sampling, and the bee tent, and mine might have been a challenge from Honorary Show Director, Rupert Uloth, to a race on the dog obstacle course. In reality it was hard to single anything out. It was a triumph.’

The Royal Bath & West Society look forward to welcoming Lord & Lady Falmouth to its first Society event in October, The Dairy Show.
