Welcome to the Royal Bath & West Education Hub!

At the Royal Bath & West of England Society, we believe that being able to look, hear, smell, and get your hands dirty is the most effective way to learn. Therefore, we have devised this Education Hub to deliver you resources that can be used to learn all about British farming and the process of plough to plate. Alongside this, we have some STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities too.

We invite you to make use of these resources however you wish, whether you are a teacher, home educator or a parent with children interested in the agricultural industry! The Hub also outlines everything that we do as a Society to fulfil our educational aims, including our very successful Field to Food Learning Day.

Our content is aimed at educating young people in engaging ways and was created to ensure that is satisfies aspects of the National Curriculum, with links to ‘living things and their habitats’ and ‘principles of a healthy diet’. Keep a look out for our Bath & West farm animals too, who will make an appearance on some of our pages and resources!

Alongside this, we will be releasing a quarterly newsletter, suitable for primary school aged children including plenty of fun, stimulating and educational activities and information. Please CLICK HERE if you would like to sign up to receive this.
