What is Mental Health?

Mental health is something everybody has. There is a common misconception that the term mental health means negative mental health or a mental health disorder, but the term mental health actually means a state of mental wellbeing, that can at any time be positive, negative, or somewhere in between.

Everybody is busy, but looking after your own wellbeing should be a priority, so we urge you to give yourself at least a few minutes each day to check in with yourself and try out some of the tips that come your way.

We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for all. Read on to find more about our mental health resources and where to get advice if you need.

What are we doing at the Bath & West?

Taking workplace wellbeing to the next level, we recently opened a Quiet Room on site. Available for everyone, the Quiet Room is a safe space to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Created to help calm the mind, the Quiet Room also includes elements that help to create a relaxing environment – think oil diffusers, calming lights, mindfulness activities & relaxing playlists.

Alongside the Quiet Room, we released our Day Delegate Rate. This has a focus on wellbeing and allows our clients to choose between packages focused on reducing stress and increasing productivity.

Within our team, we have trained Mental Health First Aiders who are on hand to help our clients and employees.
